Doğa Hasçelik

Hi, I'm Doğa.

I'm always eager to improve myself and try new things, especially when a problem needs a creative solution. This website is one of those experiments: I wanted my story to feel like a journey.

I trained as an architect, studied digital marketing and data in Paris, then worked on international trade shows and events.

01.

I studied architecture in Ankara.

ANKARA, TÜRKİYE, 2019-2024

Bachelor of Architecture at İhsan Doğramacı Bilkent University. Architecture school taught me to look at a problem from two sides: analytically, by reading the site, the brief and the constraints, and creatively, by finding the idea that answers them. That habit has followed me into every job since.

02.

An Erasmus semester in Gdańsk.

GDAŃSK, POLAND, 2021-22

At Gdańsk University of Technology I studied in an international environment and worked in many different groups, with people who brought their own languages, habits and ways of designing. With one of these groups I redesigned a square and river corridor in Rumia, built around the local Kashubian culture.

03.

Then I moved from studio to practice.

MUĞLA AND ANKARA, 2022-2024

Architectural Intern

Velux Yalıkavak, Muğla. June 2022 to January 2023.

A luxury residential development of 63 villas, valued at over €100M.

Assistant Project Architect

DEMAY Architecture, Ankara. January 2023 to January 2024.

Architectural projects, including commercial and hospitality interiors.

What the work covered

Interiors and retail space

Interior plans with furniture layouts and circulation, reflected ceiling and lighting plans, interior elevations, and joinery details for counters, shelving and cabinetry. I researched materials and finishes, collected samples and supplier documentation, and prepared finish schedules.

Visuals and presentation

I built models in SketchUp and finished the renders in Photoshop, adding light, people and planting. I prepared mood and material boards, presentation boards and client decks, and boards for architecture competitions. I also worked on the show villa and sales-office environment for the 63-villa development.

Drawings, site and tracking

Technical drawings in AutoCAD and Revit, including signage and facade drawings. I kept track of drawing revisions, prepared permit documentation, and checked on site that the work matched the drawings, reporting back with photos and notes. On the villa development I also built Excel dashboards to follow weekly inventory, deliveries and construction milestones.

Anchor down.

Here is some of my studio work from Bilkent and Gdańsk.

04.

Then I added marketing and data.

PARIS AND MONTRÉAL, 2024-2025

I did an MSc in Digital Marketing & Data Science at emlyon business school, between Paris and Montréal, with an exchange semester at McGill University. I wanted to understand the other side of design: who it is for, how it reaches people, and what the numbers say about it.

05.

Then I worked on international events.

PARIS, 2025-2026

At Sesamers in Paris I started as Marketing & Project Intern in August 2025 and became Operations & Project Manager in February 2026. Sesamers works with trade shows, startup programmes and event communities. My work covered event operations, communications, branding and startup outreach, and it's where architecture, marketing and data came together for me.

Where my design background showed up

The Booth Company, illustrated booth mascot from the brand identity

The Booth Company

BRANDING AND WEBSITE, SESAMERS

The company had no identity or website yet. I defined the visual language, tone of voice, colour palette and positioning, and turned them into a live website. The goal was to make booking a booth and joining a startup exhibition feel simple.

SPATIAL DESIGN AND 3D EVENT MODELLING, SESAMERS

I designed and modelled the Startup Area as an interactive 3D environment, so exhibitors and partners could walk through the space before committing to a booth. I worked out the circulation, spatial hierarchy and visibility.

EVENT SPACE DESIGN AND VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE, SESAMERS

I designed and modelled the International Startup Area, including the bar, kitchen and pitching stage. Potential exhibitors could explore it online before buying a booth, and the model became part of the sales conversation.

Marketing and communications

I managed email campaigns and social media for our events before, during and after each one: content planning, visuals, publishing across platforms, amplifying speakers and startups, and reporting on performance afterwards. I also designed sales decks, presentations and event materials for the team.

Events I worked on

  • TUTTOFOOD Milano 2026

Operations, programme and sales support for the International Startup Area: 36 speakers from 10 countries, 22 sessions over 4 days, 10 startup pitches and 1,000+ buyer meetings.

  • JEC World 2026

Operations for the International Startup Area, the Startup Booster competition and Investor Day: startup coordination, communications and on-site support.

  • Global Industrie Paris

Operations for the Global Industries Investor Day.

  • IFA Berlin

Found and contacted startups to apply to the IFA Startup Battles.

  • Innovation challenges

Found and contacted startups for the Cosmetic Valley and BIND innovation challenges.

Where the ship is heading.

I'm based in Paris and looking for my next role. Design, marketing and events are all part of my story, and I'd like to keep working where they meet.
